I didnt insult you once.. i merely stated that you arent old enough to remember when united were a poor side... it will happen again. football goes in cycles. always has, always will. It pays to be humble as a football suppoorter so you dont look so silly when your team fails.... I should know... supporting Oldham Athletic!!

Incidentally where are you from?

Bath, i support my local team, but they are non league, so i decided to support a big team aswell when i was younger, i liked United, so picked them, been a fan since i was about 6 or 7, been to see them once, on my 16th birthday, hope to go more in future.

if my local team were to play United, i would support my local team, i have also seen my local team play on numerous occasions.

good man... always support your local team.

yep

im one of the few who does, at school most people supported the bristol scum teams because they are in higher divisions than us, but not me, i support my truly local team, bristol are rival teams, so i hope they lose always.

Vermaelen looked pretty solid for Arsenal, he could be the answer to their defensive problems...

Very poor from Everton... I expected more from the hardest working team in the premiership.

no vidic or ferdinand today for man u, shouldnt be a problem though in one of their easiest games of the season.

we have Wes Brown back today, which is good, he missed much of last season injured, but yeah, we should beat Birmingham

todays predictions:

Manchester United 2-0 Birmingham City
Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Liverpool

Hmmm...Fletcher ;)

Should have been 2-0 ...

Birmingham isn't that bad.

good old Rooney, shame fletcher missed, should be 2

full time, 1-0 job done, defence without Ferdinand and Vidic looked a little nervous at times.

im not to worried though, Rooney was on top form for most of the game, Owen & Berba will find there form after a game or two i would imagine also.

what did you think of valencia?... looked a little lazy and overawed to me. stands still when he loses the ball and his final ball was awful.

he looked quick, but his crossing needs work, early doors though, too early to say too much about him.
