Denilson scored a great goal, by the way. Shame Fellaini didn't score when it was 1-0 and we had that corner kick, match could have gone other way...

well, tomorrow, I will be watching the Reigning Champions live on TV, we start against Birmingham, hopefully we can win and get off to a good start.

Liverpool play Tottenham which should be a good game to watch also, Tottenham have a good team and Harry Redknapp took them from 18th to 8th last season, I reckon they could be in contention for a top 6 finish this season. Liverpool have lost Alonso, so it will be interesting to see how there midfield copes without him also.

The loss of alonso pales into insignificance to the loss of ronaldo and tevez. Liverpool will be fine.

you wish

United have many top class squad players and young talent coming through, plus we have signed 3 good new players in the summer. We also have a manager who has seen the likes of Van Nistelrooy and Beckham leave, and still we have bounced back, in the case of Van Nistelrooy we bounced back immediatley, since he left, we have won 3 straight titles. Sir Alex Ferguson is the greatest manager ever, I am more than confident in United's ability to win the league this season, Infact i think we should be strong enough to challenge in Europe aswel.

Ronaldo and Tevez are insignificant losses. MUFC will be fine. At the start of every season we are apparently on the brink of relegation yet we continue to dominate. The loss of R&T just means our other players get a chance to show their stuff and the young ones will be needing to step up.

mufc lovers are incredible.... ronaldo is an insignificant loss!!! lol.. yeah ok.

United haters are incredible, underestimate us so often, yet weve still made the top 3 every year since 1992.

Van Nistelrooy left and you muppets said the same thinng...we won 3 titles in a row (so far)...

Cantona retired and you said that...after a 1 season blip (even then we still came 2nd)...we won 3 in a row...

Sir Alex Ferguson has consistently built teams that have won us the league, yet every time players leave, United haters call time on our succcess

Ronaldo's assists - to compensate for there loss, we have Rooney (judging by pre-season form and the face he is in his favoured position now) and Valencia

Ronaldo's goals (18 last season) - compensate with Rooney upfront (he will almost certainly score more) and Owen (not to mention that Berbatov may do better this season too)

Tevez's contribution last season is grossly overestimated as i pointed out earlier in the thread.

Ronaldo is not the be all and end all. We have plenty of talent. I welcome him leaving as he was starting to become bigger than the club. We got the best out of him.

you are quite young... you wont remember when you were shit. it all goes in cycles.. their time will end.

As a man u "hater" I have probably been to Old Trafford more than most of their "fans".

Incidentally I hated man u when they were shit and before you were born. tatty bye.

beacuse age is what matters when it comes to being a fan?

you have no response to my actual points, so just insult me for being younger than you instead...

you may consider that going to Old Trafford is not cheap, so younger fans in particular have much less chance to go and see them often..
