Boca 2 - AEK Athens 0

That concludes our friendlies schedule, 3 wins, 1 draw (win in penalties) and a loss. Pretty good. And the team's starting to appear, I'm confident we can win the league

To see the goals (the 2nd one is very good, must see)

How is Gary doing?

So far, I can't be more pleased with him. He got the spirit of team straight away, understood what means to play for Boca, and he's forming an ideal society with Battaglia. You had to see him in the first match, he literally erased Rooney from the field.

Yeah, excellent signing so far, if he keeps this in the league, we have somebody that will enter the books

Great, I saw the first 2 matches against Man U and Milan and he did a great job, I wanted to see the others but fox sports only had them for argentina.

It seems Im gonna watch the argentinian league agai. Here you could only watch some matches on sundays, they used to transmit some River matches when Alexis was playing there. I also support Waldo Ponce but he isnt in a big club so I didnt get to see him a lot, but Im sure Ill get to watch a lot of Bocas matches.

Anyway, I dont think he will stay there for a long time, I think after the WC they will sell him to an european club. He is still very young so I supose something similar to what happened to Sanchez will happen to him.

Yeah, for sure. I dunno how much the buy clause is, but suppose he keeps playing like that, we could buy him for the buy clause and sell it to any big European team for €10-15 million or so, definitely an excellent deal. Of course, he proved he can be an excellent player in the friendlies, now it's time to show it in the real matches...whenever those start...which doesn't look to be anytime soon

I think its like 2 or 3 million, I think Catolica didnt want to sell him, they were using Boca to show him more and hope his price would rise a lot, a thing Im suere will happen even more if he plays a decent WC.

Well, that doesn't make sense for Catolica. Boca doesn't loan players without a buy clause, so whatever Catolica is wanting to get they'll lose it, if he plays well, we'll buy it for the buy clause and resell, in the end Catolica will get nothing. We already did that with Perea in 2003, buy after the loan clause and sell it one minute later to Atletico Madrid for double the cash

Anyone fancy little VGChartz Fantasy Football Premier League? We could set up a league if there is few people could be fun and it only takes couple of minutes.

Liverpool or Chelsea will win the English Premier League. Manchester City will rise up to the top 4 due to their huge spending on players. Man united will drop down to third. Arsenal will drop down to 6th. Everton remain 5th.

Top 6 EPL teams by end of season: (predictions)
1. Chelsea (Already Charity Shield winners)
2. Liverpool
3. Manchester United
4. Manchester City
5. Everton
6. Arsenal
7 to 20 Is anyone's guess.
Expected relegated teams: Burnley, Birmingham and Hull City.

Champions League Winners will be Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Even with Man City's huge spending spree I think they will do very well to finish in the top four. It's going to take time for all those players to gel together and I don't see them winning many of the game against their top rivals in the first half of the season. As much as I dislike them, I certainly wouldn't rule Man United out of the title!

I'd be up for it. The official fantasy Premier League is a pretty good one to do and creating a league takes no time. I'd be happy to try and set one up (or just take part if someone else wants to do it) if people are interested? Any takers?

I think it was said that Boca didnt have the money to buy him, anyway I dont know much about it, maybe its like you say, I dont really know.

RIP Dani Jarque, not many attention to spanish football here it seems, but he was a good player and its sad when a guy dies that young, especially when he leaves his wife and he was going to be father, it seems he was really liked by his fans(espanyol).

Tomorrow we will have a lot of international friendly matches.
Chile vs. Denmark
Argentina vs. Russia
Paraguay vs. South Korea
England vs. The Netherlands
Italy vs. Switzerland
Ecuador vs. Jamaica
Colombia vs. Venezuela
Spain vs. Macedonia
Brazil vs. Estonia
Uruguay vs. Algeria

10 matches tomorrow, busy day I guess.
