To be honest, i think Man City will finish well above Everton next season with or without Lescott. They simply have a better squad and they have far far more potential. Theres no wonder he wants out. + $$$$$.

Alonso has been a brilliant player for Liverpool, will be sad to see him leave but its not suprising, every Spaniard wants to play for Madrid. They immediatly turn into a superstar as soon as they pull on the white jersey.

Senderos is absouloutly awful. I had the mispleasure of watching him play for Arsenal and he is a nervous wreck. He just smashes the ball away every time it near him and he seriously lacks pace. Even if Everton can get him for cheap its still an awful bit of buisness.

I always hated Real Madrid, (because i have some sympathy for Barcelona) they have always been a team that simply splashes the cash every transfer window , regardless whether it was Perez, Sanz or Calderoon in charge.

That is a also the reason i dislike Chelsea ( i did not mind them circa 2001 when they build the decent team), and Man City going this same road, it becomes clear that English League is all about the money, and players like Toure, Adebayor , Barry are nothing but a bunch of Mercenaries, at least in Italy there is some form of loyalty.

Xabi Alonso was great for Liverpool, he is a legend. I am quite surprised that as a Basque he wanted to play in Madrid, but fair enough his choice. I prefer that Benitez to sell him than Mascherano (who is incredible, and like Gerrard, Carra and Torres irreplaceable in Liverpool)

Delph is a talented player , i just hope he plays enough and maybe he will be able to replace Gareth "Greed" Barry.
