till he puts on an England shirt that is...

atlest Ronaldinho at his best, did it for Club and Country

He never gets played in his correct position.

Erikson = Right Wing/Defensive Midfeild

Mclown = Left Wing

Cappelo = Left Wing

And despite this he would still be placed in the top England players of the last 10 years. The answer is to drop the waste that is Lampard put Gerrard in attacking midfield or put a defenisve Midfielder in place. Also under the Cappelo regime why is it Gerrard who gets shipped out to the left wing? Why not dump Lampard or Barry out there.

Base your team around your best players, not the other way around.

Terry Ferdinand

Gerrard

Rooney

Now fit everyone else around those....Well if i was Manager i would want my best players in their best positions.

Errikson did play him in his best position, he still was inconsistent.

Rooney is an example of what Gerrard should do, he adapts to other positions for club and country if he needs too, and plays well there.

^ You didn't mention a "el Rey" :O

That's because I've never seen complete games of him while he was playing for New York Cosmos. The TV coverage was not nearly what it is today. I only saw some excerpts of his Cosmos games, so I can't claim I've followed the last years of his career.

ye under Erikson maybe but under Mclaren everyone played terribly. He needs to realise that the 11 men behind the ball tactic only works at clubs like Middelsbrough and not for England.

true, McClaren was a disaster as England boss, i never understood why we appointed him in the first place!

I wanted Alladyce. But thinking back to it he might have just put Crouch up front and played the high diaganal across the field pass, like at Bolton

here's another question, who do you think has "potential" to become that good?

Alexis Sanchez, he is still young, and has a lot of potential, you will see him at the WC next year. He was one of the choices Ferguson had to replace Ronaldo, I dont think he is that good but he is still 20 and has grown a lot since when he first played in the NT at 16.

I think he has the potential of being one of the top players in a few years, if that was what you where refering with your question.

Latest big transfer to have been confirmed

Ibrahimovic for Samuel Eto'o + 40 Million

I think Barcelona got ripped off there. Although Ibrahimovic is younger im still not convinced he is a better player, afterall, Eto'o has pretty much led LaLiga score charts for over 5 years.

hahahahahaha!!!!!!

I was just browsing through the last day of the season thread and this is what i found

Captain Preference (ManU diehard)

Guys, why do you still hype up Owen. THE MAN IS TRASH. He is washed up and isnt capable of getting back to what he used to be. Everton ahev a better chance with Darren Bent than Owen. Owen might have been capd 27 times this season, but how many of those apprearnces were 60 minute or 20 minute sub appreances? Think abotu that. He is washed up and is garbage. Should have never left Liverpool.

So what has changed about Owen over the Summer for you to think he is a great signing. Surly if he was trash then nothing would have changed?

Captain Preference do you still think he is a waste of space of do you think he is good now he has signed for MANUTD?

Good deal for Inter. Both excellent players, but Eto´o scores more goals and + 40 million . Ibrahimovic is only 7 months younger than Samuel.

Only 7 months in it? Wow Inter got a great deal and they can afford to buy another world class player with 40 million.

Ive also heard that Arsenal Legend Patrick Viera has been lined up to return to his former club.
