Carragher's out so it's Johnson at right back again I'm afraid.
I know Rooney hasn't performed but I don't think Defoe is the answer. If Capello insists on playing the big man Crouch deserves to play ahead of Heskey but I think five across the middle is the obvious solution, with Rooney up front.
You're dead right to drop Lampard in a 4-4-2, there's no room for him and Gerrard, and Gerrard has been by far the better player in the two games

carragher has two yellows already,well johnson will do ,
yes i'm talking about 4-4-2 as i assume capello won't be changing,rooney is our best player,but he was poor against algeria,i don't see whats wrong with having good players like rooney and lampard on the bench to come on and change things,defoe,crouch and j.cole can do the job against slovenia,sometimes i think we don't have enough faith in our squad,its a bit late now as there is only one group game left

It doesn't matter who plays in defence. At the end of the day we have conceded one goal and that was not the defenders fault, *Cough, Green, Cough* We have scored one goal in the last two games that is more of an issue. Especially, in my opinion the strikers. Have Rooney, Crouch, Defoe....Heskey etc haven't actually looked like scoring. Why aren't they doing the kind of runs like Gerrard vs USA? They all seam static to me

i don't know why,whats happened to lampard he could barely pass it last night,
i'd play defoe because he makes runs that players can at least try and find,we aren't playing well but you can only hope they go and beat slovenia,capello will be sacked if they don't
