That sentence i responded to. I did not say America did not deserve to win. But if you're gonna blame the ref, he made his first mistake 10 seconds in the game at the cost of Slovenia. So i just call bullshit when blaming the ref.


Don't blame the ref for the ref taking back a legitimate goal? Really? That is the worst logic I have ever seen. It is nothing but the ref's fault for taking back that goal. Slovenia was fouling the hell out of the USA team as all replays show. It isn't a terrible outcome considering how poorly USA played in the first half, but that does not change how the game played out. USA scored 3 legitimate goals, and should have won.

I should say I have a lot of other problems with how the game was called. One blown call wouldn't have me calling for his head. He fucked up the entire match. That was just the culmination of all his idiocy as well as the worst mistake he made the entire match. The only foul I can see on the USA side is "America is about to win!!!!111!!!11" but that didn't really hold up to the replay either. He just has no business being where he is, and I hope the higher ups take notice.

If the ref had given a justified red card after ten seconds the entire game would have been different is all im saying.

But yeah, he pretty much sucked and should not be given another game. Now, if the USA team wins their last match they're still through to the next round. Thanks to a horrible horrible England team...

Rooney has lost the ball over ten times by lack of ball control... Passes and corners from Gerrard sucked balls and these guys are considered the best of the world??? My seven year old nephew has better ball control.

I believe it was a foul...maybe not a yellow but Ok...1 yellow misjudged. The end of the world. That yellow card is why Germany lost. Not cause of the missed penalty or anything...

Seriously though, its part of the sport...slight human error is what makes soccer what it is. Besides, justified or not, Klose was cautioned once. Soccer is a gentlemens sport. He definetly commited a hard foul afterwards...he has to be careful.  Soccer is not a game where you get a freebie yellow card you can use any time like fouls in a basketball game.

Still havent lost. Going through is still in Englands hands. At the moment England are in a better position than Spain.

 

Please dont get me wrong, This isn't about me sticking up for England it's about England earning the trophies the get. I don't think they have earned that yet....

I disagree too , 4 of the 9 cards where not right , not say that it wasn't a foul  but a card is too hard

how can you say it's a nice change of pace when the ref calls every little bump ? it destroyed the whole game  and not only for the german players also for serbia

9 fucking cards 

you wont see this in a champions league match  or in the german league  or in any other league

Heh, yeah it was pretty awful. What I was trying to say is I am amazed at how poorly England played today. Algeria did really well for itself, but they shouldn't have gotten a tie. I like it because it means USA can still take top spot, but it was pretty sad to watch.
