Why take 3 keepers?

Keepers are the least likely to get injured and the chances are not even one will get injured. Having a versitile defender who can play anywhere along the back 4 would be more suited

Not sure if your're jokng or not, cos of the smiley and that, but every team has to bring three keepers. It's in the rules.

I wasn't aware there were restrictions on who could be picked. That's a stupid rule. Over the course of a full season (43 game average) only a few clubs have used more than two goalkeepers. Two of those only did it because of errors - Arsenal.

There were only 64 games in total for (last world cup) all the teams put together meaning, England can only play a small amount even if we win the competition......ridiculous rulling.

According to the Guardian only 4 out of 371 teams to qualify for the world cup have ever used all 3 keepers, so yeah, a stupid rule.

I suppose the idea is it's a 22 man squad with an extra keeper just in case rather than a 23 man squad with restrictions

i've always thought three keepers was a waste of a place in a 23 man squad, but if thats the rules

in my opinion the squad should be 25 players,it lets managers take a couple more gambles/youngsters and creatives without worrying about disasters,

Millwall's back to the championship.

ESPN Brasil will show the game later on today

and tomorrow they'll broadcast Dag & Red vs. Rotherham live, I'll try to watch it haha

btw, how do you say in english when it's not a live transmission?

How popular is English football in Brasil?

compared to the other leagues it's probably the most popular now, but one can only watch it in cable TV (ESPN). I'd say that Milan is still probably the most popular foreign club here, but Man. Utd, Arsenal and (obviously) now Chelsea are very popular too. La Liga would be the most popular IF most Real Madrid and Barcelona games weren't exclusive to ESPN HD, which, in turn, is also exclusive to one major cable provider. apparently, with the World Cup, the other major provider will also get ESPN HD, but so far there's nothing confirmed.

Just got back from Wembley. Disapointing result. :( but didn't get beat up by Millwall fans, so every cloud.

That's probably because the babies won.

The bobble when a Swindon player got through 1 on 1 was embarrasing. The groundsman for Wembley needs shooting (If it had happened to Millwall I wouldn't have been surprised) the pitch is aweful!

I say we call for the FA to move all play off games to alternate areas as the pitch is "unplayable." They spent 1 Billion £ on a new stadium and yet they forgot the most crucial aspect!

But, I am thankful they spent £1,000 per toilet, that compensates for the green cowfield in the centre.
