go Spurs! they should have scored the third before the last ten minutes though, when you play against Arsenal you'll be really lucky if they don't score in the last ten minutes. today once again they proved it, and it's a pity that they did so bad against Barcelona.

however, I still think Wenger should change his policy or he'll have to wait a few more years to win another trophy, until the young players age :P

Problem is he has been saying wait until...the players mature since he took over.

The best Arsenal team had very few youngsters and bags of expiereince: Seaman, Cole, Lauren, Campbell, Viera, Pires, Bergkamp, Ljumberg just to name a few in that unbeaten season.

Awesome goal

I think Arsenal's best chance of winning anything will come more from United and Chelsea getting worse than from their own improvement. If United can't afford to rebuild and Abramovich won't shell out to replace Chelsea's oldies then it's plausible that Arsenal could be the top team in a year or two, assuming city don't sort themselves out too quickly.

Also, Van Persie is a great player. He was brilliant at the start of the season, real shame he was injured, for the league as a whole. I read somewhere (The Metro, so take it with a pinch of salt) a few weeks ago that while he was fit Arsenal were scoring one more goal per game than when he wasn't. I was surprised it wasn't more. I love him.

Arsenal need to buy a few players who are over 18. I understand this would brake their transfer policy but it will be necessary for domestic success.

Liverpool need a shake as well.

Out: Ngog, Lucas, Aqualani, Riera.
In: 2 decent Strikers and a passing midfielder.

Dick Advocaat, you Dick.

http://goal.com/en/news/2898/euro-2012/2010/04/15/1879947/dick-advocaat-resigns-as-belgium-coach

The 62 year old multimillionaire coach who took on the Belgium job 6 months ago has resigned to get even richer in Russia.

He signed with us, KNOWING that we couldn't pay the millions he could get elsewhere. But he signed for the challenge of bringing Belgium back into the sub-top. Now with a couple of months before the EK qualifiers he left our football in chaos.

First he broke a contract in PSV to get payed more for the Rangers, then he did the same for Australia now Belgium.

Don't sweet talk us with I'm getting old and I want to be close to my family. I'm rich, I don't need the money, it's for the challenge. Just go after the money but don't sign a contract and break it right before the qualifiers.

I'm fuming. ********* Dutch.

Maybe he wasn't keen on the trying to turn around a nation not at its best?

At his age it's clear he will want instant success and maybe he can get that with Russia in Euro 2012.

He fully knew what he was getting into, we made sure of that. Russia are in a slump as well, they failed to qualify for the WC.

Over the past few months Russia has been courting him, he kept saying that he is a man of his WORD. That he is honourable, that he wanted to be with his family and friends, that he loved the challenge etc.

It's simple, don't sign the contract if you want more cash.

Edit: And as I post, Maicon scores a brilliant goal.
