well said fabregas

very level headed answer.

he understands the way the game is here... but arsenal play a close quick game which will mean they get hit lots. refs should realise that.

3 bad leg breaks in 5 years at arsenal... thats not acceptable.

thats football, the fuck you want referee's to do? NEVER allow any contact AGAINST an Arsenal player?

yeah as a tottenham fan,yes

i'm sure arsenal fans are fuming, but they've played thuggish football over the years, before wenger took over

these things happen in sport

i don't reckon you'd mind if oldham played and were as good as stoke either, lol

i dont watch football for pure success... otherwise i would have picked a premier league team wouldnt i

i live within 10 miles of Man U, Man C, Bolton, Burnley, 15 miles to Blackburn, 30 miles to Liverpool, Everton, Leeds.

we were in the premier league once you know... and we did it on no money and without kicking the shit out of everyone.

yep,i remember oldham in the premiership,

at the beginnig i think weren't they

when i grew up west brom were on top,lol

That was the most disgusting horrific thing ive witnessed in my life.

Its nothing to do with the style of play, its just the Stoke players are thugs.

Evidence? Bolton played like that successfully for years under Alladyce reaching the Uefa cup and the Carling Cup final.

Ramsey will never be the same again if its anything like initially feared. Even when he "recovers" he will most certainly have lost a yard of pace and he will be mentally hurt from the accident.

why are you angry?Im not saying that.... see my post about the post game wenger interview
And forgive me but I have heard nothing but "my players dont get enough protectiom" those EXACT words.. from Fergie for the last 10 years... so dont give me that.

im not Alex Ferguson, nor do I agree with everything he says.

its a physical game...players get injured...if the tackle is bad, the referee sends people off, if you cant accept how the game is played, then dont watch it, heck, I also advise you to avoid rugby, lots of strong tackles there.

youre entitled to be upset about the injury...I think everyone is...does not mean that you should call teams thugs or take all physical stuff out of the game.

I dont want to take the physical stuff out of the game... but stoke players ARE thugs... my opinion.   Its rather naive to think that stoke didnt have a team talk whch basically said hit them early, stay tight, they dont like it rough etc etc.

and you owe wenger an apology, he was very fair and level headed in his response.

they arent thugs, what do you not understand, "it is a physical game, it is not against the rules to use your strength"?

fine, im glad he was, I get fed up when he talks shite, heck I even get fed up when Sir Alex talks shite.

^Physicality is part of the game, kicking the shit out of players because that's the only way to win is not.

is that not why they have a guy in black on the pitch, whats his name again? oh yes, the REFEREE...

if teams do that, which ALL of them do at times, they get booked (unless the ref misses it or is bad at his job, but thats a seperate issue really, it happens no more frequently with Stoke or Bolton than most other teams ive seen playing)

lets face it, this is all just a big OTT re-action to the injury, it was a bad tackle and he got sent off, it was neither intentional nor malicious.

^ yes and he was a failure today. (plus it wasn't a penalty imho, the two other appeals were).

imo playing Stoke is always playing the injury lottery, 3 red cards in 3 pl games for Stoke proves my point ...

I'm not against physicality, I'm just against Stoke. They always set out on a mission to injure someone. How can you support a team like that?

Here is a picture of the injury.
