here we go again.. i know it say a minimum of x minutes... but it almost never goes over that, maybe by a lfew seconds sometimes... except at old Trafford, where ferguson gets away with standing on the touchline intimidating the ref making a point of showing everyone that he is looking at his watch.

secondly he didnt apologise for the rant.. the rant hasnt even been mentioned by anyone.

he apologised for the "unfit" reference because he looked a dick when it was shown the ref covered more ground than all but 4 of the Man U players on the pitch and basically he was looking at a law suit for calling someone unfit to do their job, as the ref union is sick of ferguson getting away with stuff. A touchline ban isnt good enough... it should be a ban from the stadfium for a minimum of 3 games like they do in Europe.

it goes beyond that all the time, especially in games with top teams and when there our stoppages

if the FA feel he should be punished like that, im sure they will, he's neither the first nor the last manager to rant at officials though, the FA have to be impartial and consistent, so if other managers do this, they would have to be punished in the same way.

4 mins "minimum" shown, Burnley score after 91mins, (45 seconds should be added according to fergie), a total stop in play at 93.50 until 94.40, whistle blown at 94.56

I rest my case.

no time was added to extra time for the goal.

whats your point? some referees know the rules better than others and add time better than others...

if a ref adds 4 minutes, and there are 3 minutes of stoppages or time wasting, the ref can play upto 7 minutes under the law's of the game

I know... so why dont they ever?... unless its at Old Trafford?

they do sometimes, they dont sometimes, people like you only pick up on it at Old Trafford because you hate United, im sure I can remember seeing Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea games where it happened too.

Oh I agree... it is the top 4 where it happens... although mostly Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea. That is no defense though is it. What you are saying is its ok because it happens at the other big 2 clubs.

It sums up everything thats wrong with the football in this country. The big 3 teams get away with murder. But only one manager gets away with murder.

at no point did I say it was okay, I just said it happens, to imply only United benefit from it is absurd was my point.

okay.....beach ball debate......of course the goal should not of been allowed........but it was,and like everything else in footabll what the ref says goes.......next time it will be a dropped balled....

unlucky liverpool but thats the way it goes......at no point should the game be replayed.....

reina should of got rid of it in the first place whats he doing letting a beach ball in the area.....he had time to do it.....

although you can't help but think if it had been at old trafford someone would of persuaded the ref to disallow the goal......

3-2 to blackburn good...i called that....

up the spurs...

Anyone notice how City only scores on the counter attack? They are helpless if a team pressures they back foru and midfielders. Also Santa Cruz is a flop.

yeah, kinda inevitable, he lost his touch with injuries last season for Blackburn (20 apperances, only 4 goals), Man City wasted cash on hype there imo.
