At the moment we need brand new, fresh and confident keeper (Akinfeev) a new right back, maybe a center back and a new striker... Send Nani and Foster on loan somewhere. We should done more to convince Ribery or get Snieder or Robben as part of the Ronaldo deal. I think I said that a few weeks ago..

We can also use Hargreaves as a right winger when he comes back. Thank God because Valencia/Nani are terrible. My predictions about them this season were deadwrong.

2:0 was not a fair result at all. It was even for most of the game except when Liverpool were dominated the first 20ish mins.

Liverpool need another striker, also i don't see the logic in playing 2 defensive midfielders every week. Against teams that arn't the big 6 its completly pointless. Might aswell get a new striker replace Lucas with him and have the extra striker.

Also what is with Liverpool's defending? Not really applies as much to the game vs Chelsea, but against Burnley and Bolton they had all 11 players back for corners and free kicks. What is with that? Its not needed at all. Putting a striker on the half way line forces 3 players at least to sit back hence lifting the pressure off the defence. And zonal marking does not work, i had a bad feeling every time chelsea got a corner that they were going to win it. Insua isn't at Liverpool quality yet and things need shaking up.

As it stands now, Liverpool will be 4th or 5th.

Realistically its only going to be MANUTD Arsenal Chelsea MANCITY or Tottenham, Everton and Aston Villa i don't believe have anywhere near the quality of Liverpool.

Benitez needs to pull Carragher aside and tell him to improve or be benched. He is really terrible this season. Glen Johnson should also improve his defending. Also, I don;t understand why he still plays Lucas over Benayoun. When ever he comes on he sets the tone for the game and the whole plays better... Babel on the otehr hand just runs into defenders.
