Man City signed Adebayor? What for? They already have 3 world class strikers! How are they planning to field Robinho, Tevez, Santa Cruz AND Adebayor?? And leaving one of those in the bench should be a crime

i know, i made that very point about 5 times in this and other threads, City are gonna have some pretty angry players come January
No one replied to my comment, therefore you all accept that brazilians are superior.

I didn't read much (
), I was just surprised when I found it out reading my newspaper.
Oh well, this always happens when you have a big checkbook, you end up accumulating players. It'll be difficult for Hughes to set up a team, he has 2 players per position
Let's see
GK: Given
DF: Zabaleta, Richards, Dunne, Bridge
MF: De Jong, Barry, Elano
FW: Robinho, Tevez, Adebayor
Yes, I like attacking teams
If they sign Lescott, that team can be a serious title contender, it's an amazing team. Except maybe the full backs, I'm not too convinced on them. And I left Wright Phillips, Petrov, Santa Cruz, Benjani, Bellamy out

I think the fee was 25 million for adebayor which is a great deal considering how valuable he could potentially be to the team. For me he will start the majority of the games for them. He has hight which non of the other strikers possess.
I agree with your team there Zexen, you could even swap a few around and the team would still be strong. Shows strength in depth. Imagine if they got Terry (unlikely) and Lescot (possible) then i would say they would definitly over take arsenal and hold the 4th spot.

We do have the best players. But our league sucks because all the good players are in Europe.
That's why your Premier League is good.

I'd say they should overtake Arsenal now, even without more signings, the quality of the players obliterates those in Arsenal, as much as I like Gunners. Of course, the Arsenal has behind the history, a consistent style backed up by the manager, and that the players know between them pretty well. But based on names alone, I'd say City has a squad comparable in strength to Chelsea's

City's attack is great, but in midfield and defence, they look vunerable if hit by even the smallest injury crisis, they need to strengthen both Defensive and Midfield options before i can see them challenging for the title, top 4 is possible, but Arsenal are the only team i can see dropping out of the big 4 next season.
