Yes. Half-Life was indeed longer than Half-Life 2, though not as varied and with horrible maps toward the end.

infamous: my first playthrough took me 17 hours
minimum time: 9 hours
maximum time: 23 hours.
playing as good and bad and getting platinum takes more then 45 hours.

All I could find is someone saying it was a 'decent' length of a game. And another guy said it's really long and you'd be a master if you beat the game in 30 hours.
