Bellemy wont even start upfront. I mean take your pick out of those players and they could even challenge Liverpool ManUTD Chelsea   etc.  There defence will be better next season, they should be one of the best defensive units in the Prem. They have cover and i think they have a better squad than Arsenal.

In my opinion they have a good squad with a mix of accomplished players and youthful players. Ive bolded and underlined my choices. And even still theres players that are WORLD CLASS.

Given, Hart, Schmichael

Richards, Dunne, Bridge, Onuoha, Ben-Haim

Wright-Phillips, Barry, Elano, Ireland, Robinho, Kompany

Adebayor, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Bellemy, Benjani

see's the words "World Class" see's the names Hart, Schmiechel, Dunne, Richards, Bridge, Onuoha, Ben-Haim, Ireland, Wright Phillips, Benjani and Bellamy, see's stars due to confusion?!?

most of thoose players are either only potential stars or are just average players, only players you listed, who could be considered World Class are: Given, Robinho, Barry, Tevez, Elan, Kompany, Adebayor and Santa Cruz, even then, some of thoose are debatable and/or had bad seasons last time out.

You seriously think Elano outperforms Ireland at city? Maybe Elano is a brazilian superstar but he has a big head and doesnt give a SHIT abotu city. Ireland perofmrs week in week out. Even Robinho isnt that good of a player AT CITY. City need more dpeth at the back and midifled if they want to be successful.

If John Terry ever goes to city he automatically loses my respect as a player and Captain of the national team. It might come off at times that I hate certain players, but its just when I get to exited or my team just got whipped. I respect all players that give it all for their team and arnt lured by money. Im sure Chelsea fans will feel teh same if Terry leaves.

And why the hell are we talking about traitor Tevez and the Argentine League? That leagueis miles below the EPL and Estudiantes were lucky to win agaisnt Cruzerio.  South american fans might make more noise in the stadium but there are other ways to represent your passion. Travelling from Portsmouth to Newcastle to watch your team lose is passion. Invading the pitch when your team escapes relegation is passion. Bottom line is that Tevez is a money hungry traitor who is over rated as a player and misunderstood as a person. He claims to have loved United fans dearly yet he moves to CITY. he claims it wasnt for the money and for his family yet there are other clubshe could go to and getregular first team action, but he goes to city. the man cant even speak english after 3 years of living in england and he claims he is settled in. Bullshit, he isjust collecting money forhis returnto Argentina where he can retire at boca crap with the fat drug addict who is his national team coach. I hope tevezgets benched at city, and his country dont make it to the world cup. Sorry for my rant lol.

but seriously, this is a thread about MAN CITY and the ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE. Stop bringing these inferior leagues into the conversation.

@SciFiBoy

If you want passion, I should have video taped my self jumping around the house breakign a plate and denting the floor when Rooney Scoredvs Everton back in 07. Utd came behind 2-0 to win 4 2

Haha, you're making me laugh hard. Estudiantes played superbly in the biggest pitch in the world, they weren't lucky. They controlled Cruzeiro from start to finish, and Cruzeiro only got the advantage because of a long shot that hit a defender. If you really think Estudiantes were lucky, well, I'll tell you you either didn't watch the match or that you need to learn more about football. It was a brillant planned match.
Barça will have a very worthy rival on Dubai in December. We shall see what team is the best in the world. If Estudiantes beat Barça (something that can happen), does that mean they're better than Man U, and thus better than all the EPL teams?

If Estu beat Barca, that means that the are lucky or they deserved it. It doesn't mean they are better than Barca. It meant they were better than theon the night the beat them. Loads ofEPL teams could handle Estu.

Fulham Beat Manchester United, does that mean they are better than Arsenal?

Maybe not. But Estudiantes is now in it's total righteousness the best team in South America, and if they beat Barça they'll be the best team in the world. That's how it is. Just like Spain is now the best national team in Europe, and Italy was after the WC the best national team in the world.

And seriously, you seem to think our league sucks, might I remind you that with all the South American leagues you're watching the future players of all the European leagues? Estudiantes has one of the best keepers in the world (Andújar), and players like Angeleri, Cellay, Re, Braña, Verón, Boselli, G. Fernández that could easily play in most teams in the world. Just because you don't know them now doesn't mean that you won't see them playing in the top European teams in the future

Lol, most of the players you just mentioned cant even make their national team. I saw Estu play a few matches and some look impressive, however they have yet to prove them selves in bigger leagues like Europe. Andujar isn't that good. His performances for Argentina have been poor. and LOL at Veron. He is a prime example of a south american player who cannot handle European football (Lazio, Man Utd Chelsea) and has to go back to his home country. Why is Maradoan still picking him? Is he on crack or something? O i forgot he has no brains. no wonder he is letting Aguero fuck his daughter LOL.

Most of the players picked to the national team from the Argentine league are poor and one of teh reasons why Argentina won't qualify for the world cup. Why is Higuain called up?
