exactly, tbh i have no sympathy with him, if youre too lazy to read the books, youre not a fan of Harry Potter imo.

You don't have to be a hardcore HP to enjoy the movies. After reading the first book, I decided not to read them anymore but I liked the movies a lot. So thank you again for spoiling.

You didn't ruin the movie for me as I knew that they would ruin the series with the movie. Harry Potter movies are so crap and don't give you a good sense of the story. The only good movie was the first one.
But what the hell do you expect? For them to remove stuff from the book and add content totally differnt like Dumbledore falling from a roof? Did that happen in the book? You obviously never read any.

Titanic actually hapened, it's real. You don't need to read a book to know about it. The fact remains many who are going to see this movie which i hear is good havent read the books.

People are born all the time you know. Also, why should there be some sort of expiry date on reading a novel?
If I was working my way through book 5 right now, and was around 14 years old say, and read this thread I'd be pretty pissed.
Also, there must be people following the films who don't actually read the books. For them this is brand new material just released in the cinema.
It's common courtesy - the thread should have a spoiler warning.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

well, bare in mind here, i didnt post any spoilers, and if you were a kid who was about to read the book, then ok, that is fair enough for you to be annoyed with them.
i just think you should read the books before you see the films, afterall, theyre what the film is based upon.

The books are the source material so no suprise there.
I stoped watching the movies after 3.
