exactly, tbh i have no sympathy with him, if youre too lazy to read the books, youre not a fan of Harry Potter imo.

People are born all the time you know.  Also, why should there be some sort of expiry date on reading a novel?

If I was working my way through book 5 right now, and was around 14 years old say, and read this thread I'd be pretty pissed.

Also, there must be people following the films who don't actually read the books.  For them this is brand new material just released in the cinema.
