I'm totally sold on buying a PSP now. Before, I was on the fence with only God of War, Portable Ops, Crisis Core, and Patapon that really attracted me. Now it's getting so many more games that I've already pre-ordered a Go! for myself with the Gran Turismo PSP launch.

Puzzles me though, why Sony is suddenly pushing the bloody thing like there's no tomorrow this year. What's going on with the lack of PS3 focus instead?

The PSP is a potential gold mine that has been regrettably neglected. I think Sony wants to see what the the little guy can do when its got Sony pushing it full force. A sudden surge of PSP sales could do alot to help out the PS3 I think. My god, the little fighter even got VC22222222222222222! I love my PSP! :) :) :)

Sony is really pushing it, I guess with the Go they feel they can make more profit with DD.

Well a whole bunch of games were announced for psp, so deal with it. Its sad all of them will get heavily pirated.

Let me answer - huge installed userbase, low development costs, excellent game sales in Japan, Sony starting a push in the West

Should Sony abandon all the worthy psp owners? Of course the games will get pirated but other people will buy them.

The same goes for tons of other users on here that are happy to see new games for the psp.

PSP-PS3 connection is the only way Sony can stand out in this gen.
Sony needs to utilize this combo to distinguish itself from other HD consoles: X360 and soon Wii-HD (or Wii+ or Wii2 whatever)

Good point, but will i be forced to upgrade to a psp go to get dl games only or buy overpriced memory cards.

Regular psp can get dl games so that shouldn't be the case.
You must already have a memory stick for ir, you might need to get a larger one depending on what you have now.
