Folks stay away from responding to this kind of stuff and just report it.

The Political Compass

Economic Left/Right: -1.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.41

Still libertarian, but to be honest I didn't understand a few of the questions and since there were only agree or disagree options, it may have swayed the test one way or another.

I got Centrist. Right in the middle of everything. Politically I'm moderate as well. I'm a registered Republican in the United States because when I got my Driver's License they asked me what I wanted to be registered as. At the time I was in high school and just leaned to whatever my family was at the time (Military family) so chose Republican.

You have to register your political party to get a driver's license?

That kind of goes against the idea of a secret ballot.

Libertarian.

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...

LIBERALS usually embrace freedom of choice in personal

matters, but tend to support significant government control of the

economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net"
to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation

of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations,

defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action

to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.

well, that sounds about right.

From what I remember when I got my license, it was an option.  I think I could have passed up on the option to register to vote, but it was conveinent so I went ahead and did it.  You can always register to vote at a seperate time/location of your choosing.
