Gensis for me.

Snes took a really long time to get going.
Genesis was my number 1 console from 1990 to 1994. Then Snes took over in late 1994(thanks to Metroid, Donkey kong, superior MK2 and SSF2) and 1995.
In 1996 I had Sega saturn/PS1 already.

So Genesis domination 4.1/2 years vs snes domination 1 1/2 years.
