To my great surprise, The Legendary Starfy was sold out at both my local Wal-Mart and my local GameStop. I actually found it at Sears, which is rare because their game selection has always been terrible. When i questioned the GameStop clerks they said that game had been sold out at GameStops all over the region, and that Nintendo would be shipping more stock in the next couple of weeks.

A lot of popularity for one little star.

Retailers usually aren't shy about stocking games published by Nintendo, so perhaps this shows that NoA didn't have huge expectations for the game. Shows what they know. :P

They advertise it almost non-stop at my Toys 'R' Us.

Maybe it appeals to kids in the same way Kirby does.

Because Kirby rules.

I love this game. Been playing it non-stop for over a week now. It's always nice to see a fantastic game sell well.

Appeal wise, it might be on par with Kirby but the game is more of a Wario Land clone than a Kirby clone.

hm I may want to get this as my next DS game
