I am getting a new ps3 when the new model comes out... there is no reason why I can not have more than one console. I am not a fanboy.

The wii seems like the most expensive choice, thats why I am shying away. games are so expensive.

I'd get a 360...gears of war 2, banjo kazooie nuts and bolts, L4D (if you don't have a pc), fable 2...then you have forza 3, crackdown 2 & more to look forward to. Plus there are some nice RPGs on the 360 that you could check out...like LO and the new star ocean one.

360 arcade is pretty cheap as well, and will suffice if you can go without online or if you have a gaming pc that you can play online with...

Given that you're selling your ps3...you'd also have to factor in that the only way you will be able to play games like bioshock 2, AC2, or call of duty MW2 is if you have a gaming pc, or you get a 360.

Personally I would not go for the wii unless you really have cash to burn. I think you will get more use and more value from a 360 (arcade).

P.S. I don't know much about the games on the 360 (not as a 360 fanboy anyway) so best to do some more research into the games it has.

Games are cheaper for the Wii. There's more diversity for the Wii too. Games like little kings story, Trauma centre, Mario party and bully are like nothing you have played before i'm sure. I know you can say bully was on Ps2 but with motion controls it's like a new game. They are implemented really well.

games are definately more expensive for the wii.. they dont have a greatest hits lineup and the games are way over priced. Twilight Princess is still 55$ here for instance, when its worth 19.99. the price of gears 2.

I actually am considering getting a Wii, but no one has mentioned anything about the games I want to get for it;

IE No more Heroes, Another Code-R, metroid prime 3, and Run Factory

but then again, I`ve always been a massive zelda fan since I was a young kid, but the last game i played was majoras mask. I get access to the GC library as well... dur hur.

ONTOPIC: Get a 360. The games 360 has that ps3 doesn't make up a better library then the Wii.

Dead Rising,
Bully - that's a must have, one of the best sandbox games eventhough it's only enhanced port from ps2, but damn good,
PGR4/Grid - both are arcade racing sims with great graphics and awesome gameplay,
Test Drive Unlimited - if you like open world racing games since it will give you a lot for your money(fucking huge amount of races and challenges). graphics is a little dated but it still looks good,
