I am hearing from mutliple sources that the game is set for an holiday 2009 release. I just want to know how much do you guys think the game would sell first week WW and lifetime?

I say for first week sales WW 3 million copies.

Lifetime sales would be 15-20 million copies worldwide.

Probably like 20 million. Movies/albums are always a commercial success when the protagonist/singer dies prior to release. Queen of the Damned is an exception. I'd imagine fans would also want to buy a game he starred in.

No way that game comes even close to 20 million sold. We're not talking about a 15 or 20 dollar CD here. Do you know how rare it is when a fantastically popular/great game gets to 10 million sold?

Depends what type of game it is. If its a SIngStar game i think itll sell well. If its a gh or rb game it will sell poorly

20 million? As big as Wii Fit? Please. By the time this game releases, the influence of Michael's unfortunate passing will close to nonexistent.

And look at which systems it is selling on. Getting 360 owners to buy a Michael Jackson game is like trying to convince your mother to buy you porn as a 12-year-old- not gonna happen. I see .12m tops on that system.

PS3 owners are more forgiving, maybe .26m or something. Plus I see an unusual amount of Sony fans with MJ avatars and such.

Wii owners are mostly casual, so that means it has many people who unfortunately believe all the garbage spewed about MJ's personal life and the insistence that he is a sick person, even though barely anyone knew him personally. I'm guessing slightly less than PS3- .21m

Overall, I think that is .59m all around? Whatever the amount, it won't make it past 1m. I'm pretty confident in that.
