Forums - Sales - Wii Fit vs. PS3 gap less than 2 million!

The price of Wii Fit, whatever it is, is much less than 400$ or even half that... It's not 40$ ? It's 100$ I don't know, really.

I think the price matters a little bit in the fact it sells more (but even like that it wouldn't make sense to compare a balance board with a console in my opinion).

That whole thread is pure trolling vaio, the fact you can't see it is sad really.

I don´t think so and It´s not more trolling then the countless threads about aligned launches for the ps3 bullshit.

The price to use wiifit is : wii+wiifit and that is close to the price of the ps3

The difference is aligned launch sales are facts about sales. You can dislike it, but it makes sense. If launch date doesn't make sense, then PS2 is by far the number one console in installed base, so I think launch date matters somehow, hence aligned launches matter too, otherwise you can't talk about installed base / total sales.

And at least in that case you compare console sales.

This thread - it just doesn't make sense. You can compare sales bewteen 2 similar things, but a balance board + software and a console, seriously, what is the point ?

At least look at the gap between Wii Fit and other PS3 / 360 software (it wins easily, by the way, vs any 360 / PS3 software...).

This would make much more sense.

As far as I know, the price of Wii Fit in the US is $90. In sweden, it varies between $110-135. Depending on where you buy it.

As for comparing it to a console, that's all that's left! It's going to pass the GameCube, that's for certain. Depending on the avarage pricepoint of the GameCube, it might even outgross it! That would be totally insane. But if we stick to the current generation, the only race that the Wii Fit is in that is even remotely interesting is the Wii Fit vs. PS3 one.

It has it all. It's a dramatic story about an underdog with a fervent following, angry disbelievers, a powerful and sinister enemy, drama, angst, success, lots of money... If you cannot see this, where's your sense of drama?

Hello tony parker

With alligned launces wiifit outsold the PS3

With alligned launches the wi has 54+% of marketshare

The PS2 has nothing to do with the sales of this generation get that through your thick head, they were king they are not anymore.

Not only that he is the only one driving the bolded comment every time the argument goes against the ps3 and he uses ecacly the same wording word for word, to me it´s too much of a coinsidense
