Metroid Prime 3 is selling in the GAME online store for £7.98. Amazing bargain, right? Wrong. The problem is they don't have any stock and as far as I can tell that's been the permanent situation for about a year. I've registered for stock email alerts, so I should know.
I went into my local GAME store today and asked them if they had any copies of Metroid Prime 3 new and the assistant asked me "for which console?". If that wasn't bad enough, he went on to say that it was an old game so they didn't have any stock and weren't planning on getting any new stock in.
So the 8th best reviewed game (as per Gamerankings) on the best selling console isn't being stocked by the leading computer games outlet in the UK!? Anyone who knows anything about videogames knows that MP3 is a must-own wii-title, so what is GAME thinking? What chance do good games stand of performing well on the Wii when they come up against this kind of commercial incompetence?
