I don't think anybody is taking it seriously lcec, some people are probably just off topic. Should everyone just say "haha" or something? And look at who is commenting on the sales, ...noobs.

Tell that to Skorpion and the first page of replies... I didn't read them all because they started to bug me...

exactly, he's a noob, like patrio7 or bigjon.

I think it didn't sell as much because their was a lack of promotion from Nintendo. It got a lot of TV ads but not enough to have good first week sales. Lets hope the second game will receive a positive reaction. This game received many negative reviews mostly because it seem like Wii's attempt to garner a hardcore fanbase.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

It flopped because you're a Wii hater and you're comparing HD FPSs to a Wii one. And that's just not fair

/sarcasm

And once again, another instance of Nintendo fans thinking that no Wii game can flop.....

Hardly a flop. If a traditionally 'core' game sells over 100K on the Wii it's a success. You gotta keep in mind that games like this sell to only a tiny fraction of Wii owners.

It's all about the game.

Around the Network

probably been said before, but i doubt its the celebrities. seriously, who buys games based on that? and what celebrity is in halo 3?

Master Chief could never sell on the Wii.

Now put a character named Master Chef in a Wii shooter and have him tear apart McDonald's restaurants in a quest to save Cooking Mama. Then you'll have your Wii blockbuster.

I love to watch gallant attempts at spin where no spin is required. This thread has been hilarious and disturbing. The Wii will never be a huge mover of core or hardcore third party titles. This much is a given. This game was reviewed poorly, and shove that biased crap back up your ass. It is the height of arrogance for anyone to believe they know more about doing a job then someone who does it for a living, or hell someone who actually puts real effort into what they are doing.

This game has been successful for the platform. The standard for success is just obscenely low when compared to the industry beyond this platform. Life may not be fair, but if you own and play the Wii you should know the drill by this point, and damn well know what to expect.

This was a funny joke thread just to see how many posters leap before they think. Nobody even expected greatness from this game, and nobody ever argued it would sell millions. So what the hell were some of you defending.

QFT, just hope they don't ban u for tellin the truth like they usually do.
