This will eventually happen.  For EA sports games such as Madden, the PS3 version will soon be the superior version.

With blu-ray capability, more can be put on the PS3 version. Also the PS3 hardware itself has slightly better specs.

Ummmm...ok. So what exactly is EA going to put in the PS3 version of Madden that they simply can't put in the 360 version?

Developers don't care about stacking more features in the ps3 version over the xbox version.. they sell more copies on the xbox, I mean. It would be pointless, as both versions of the games would be almost identical in terms of everything except controls. The notable exception being ghostbusters and TheOB.
I guess compression could eventually do something though.

WOW....is the difference really that big? almost all MP games look identical on both sometime a bit better on ps3 sum times on 360 and besides even if they can do better with the ps3 devs wont make the ps3 version look tad better than 360 cause they want to make it fair for both console.
