What's the point of this thread?

Its to show the tracking of the Kills on Battlefield 1943 360 vs PS3.

The first one to win gets an exclusive map untill the other system unlocks it.

Dude clearly you would know that the Xbox 360 will wipe the floor with the PS3 in any shooter in terms of sales.... That's why I asked.

The fact, that PS3 users only had some hours to buy the game, while 360 users had more than a day before the counter started is irrelevant?

The counter is not for sales,its for Kills in game,360 is stay ahead even with server problems,ps3 is catching up tho.

@Lafiel The counter started a day later after the PS3 version came out... Not some hours more like 24 hours and at least they got to play,360 owners (so many of them) didnt get to play.

Aside from that being completely pointless anyway, it's a worse measure of "skill" considering FragFX exists for the PS3 owners...

This thread could have been worded SOOOO much better, it's just confused everyone!

The 360 version STILL has major problems, server issues stopping many players from getting into games and major lag problems from where the servers are over loaded, both 360 and PS3 versions are also freezing the consoles resulting in system restarts, not good tbh, the EA and Battlefield 1943 forums are FULL of posts about all the issues.

And yeah, the counter was reset on Friday to make it fair, the PS3 should be ahead with the amount of problems the 360 version are having with the servers, I played last night, got one game in an hour of trying, grrr!

First to 43 million kills unlocks the 4th map, Coral Sea and the new Air Superiority Mode.

360: 16,062,624 Kills
PS3: 9,056,988 Kills

The game is FANTASTIC (when it works), most fun I have had in a game this year easily, taking to the skies in a plane then jumping out opening your parachute and landing right behind an enemy then hitting him with your wrench never ever gets old lmao.

anyway the planes controls are harder than I thought. The Coral sea map will be a suicide fest for me if I don't get the hangs of the controls.

It took me a while to get used to the planes but I love them now, you can do so much with them even if you just use them to get from A to B then parachute out lol
