No Alan Wake for PC

Seriously? Are we doing this again?

July 10, 2009 - Edge Online today reported that Remedy's Alan Wake may not be released for the PC. The PC version of the game, which had long been promised, is now, according to the game's lead writer, Sam Lake, "up in the air and open" while the studio focuses on completing the 360 version. Lake went on to say, "Once we get this version done [for the 360], we'll see."

Alan Wake has been in development for five years now and has lately enjoyed a renewed visibility, thanks to some impressive Xbox 360 demos at this year's E3.

When contacted earlier today, the game's publisher, Microsoft, did not offer us a response to the story.

Seems like its happening alot with Microsoft games now. Gears 2, Fable 2, Alan Wake, etc. Can't say its a bad business decision at all though, but its too bad for all 7 of the people in the world who have PCs strong enough to run Alan Wake

Not really. The game is gonna be a major letdown if it's not stellar. But - gotta say at least it's exclusive to the 360 ATM, no matter how folks wanna slice it.

Yes...any high profile game is a let down if it isn't steller, though I have a feeling I missed the point of that post?

Why this is good news? With PC release more people could have enjoyed this game. (Especially because it is pretty easy to make to port from X360 and vice versa)
