I know, but I'm asking if there is still people that thinks there will be a major turnaround by the end of this gen and if yes how that could happen.

It could happen, but then again the only turn around people discuss are the PS3 vs 360 kind which has been done to death. The Wii could sink, the Wii could soar vs HD consoles and both of them could increase their sales substantially but by nothing compared to each other etc etc etc.

Exactly Squilliam, The only thing up in the air is the amount of ps3 sold vs the 360 sold, and this gets less interesting with every day as the gap gets larger.

That's because there's a chunk of people who won't sleep because their favorite toy is getting trashed in sales compared to the competition.

You know, I do wonder if these guys cared about the games or cared about belonging to the "winning team".

Wii won't be the only console with motion control in 2010. Wii sells because of motion control; other than that it's just a GameCube. I am expecting a shift to HD consoles when PS3 lowers its price and when HD consoles get their motion controls. Suddenly Wii won't be special anymore. 1st, 2nd and 3rd stay where they are.

obviously Wii will stay in 1st, 360 in 2nd and then the success of the PS3 is at Sony's hand. they can lose more money but finish with a decent 45 million sold or just pack it in, and save some money for next gen.

The introduction of motion control in late 2010 / early 2011 for PS360 will be a flop and won't make any difference.
