Considering the installed base, isn't it disappointing for the 360 ? I think so.
Actually, this is ridiculous cherrypicking.
So, Killzone 2 manages to outsell 1 of the 2 sku's of RE5, in the UK only, and we are supposed to be shocked at this, and impressed?
The PS3 might beat the Pro version of the 360 on a weekly basis in Germany. It isn't impressive, newsworthy, or significant though. In fact, it is cherrypicking, and misleading.
Look at the overall sales of KZ2 and RE5, or even the sales of the games in Others. Draw your impressions from those numbers. Those are what matter. Not whatever weird perspective we can dig up to make the game look like it performed better than it did.

So when I look at the 'overall sales of RE5' all I see is PS3 won despite a supposed installed base gap of 8 million, which amazes me.

Depends on the game. Most RE fanbase is on the playstation...
x360 Ghostbusters in North america ALONE outsold PS3 version in Others and NA combined.

You are misstating my opinion in several different ways.
Are you seriously telling me that you think this is an indication that the PS3 sells more software overall than the Xbox 360, and indeed that this example is absolute proof, and not cherrypicking in any way.
You could have even used RE5 worldwide as an example, or any number of examples to "disprove" what you claim I believe. However, instead, you chose the most irrelivant one.

I don't even care about the Xbox 360, tbh, lol. It sells a lot of software though. Always has. My opinion isn't based off fanboyism, but instead, attach rate, and sales of top exclusives according to this website.
