Hah. I've wanted this myself. I don't like the Halo Edition 360 I am stuck with, I want my white one back, so I asked the same question. I think the best answer I got was to wrap the 360 in Aluminum foil and leave it running

just trade it in without your hd, before its to late and get a newer arcade model.

You know how things work the items you love and want to keep forever break and the things you wish would break never do. I agree with AIon trade it in and keep your hard drive.

No because i'm pretty sure my graphics card is going in it, and thats not included under the 3 year warrenty.

And leaving it on for 24+ hours won't do much because its a really cool 360, Back when before i moved i had people over 24/7 and my xbox was pretty much on constantly, I think once it was on for a week or somethin.

Can anyone confirm if its the graphics card?  It goes to a black screen once in a while right in the middle of a game.  And its not the TV cause i've hooked up different tv's to it.

Put Grand theft auto IV in there.
Duct tape the air vents.
Leave it in a towel.
Let it run for 24 hours.
occasionally pick your system up and shake it while the disk spins.
Take a blow dryer and warm it up even more
hope that your system doesn't rrod (usually that makes it want to rrod even more :p)

If you can do all that, i almost guarantee it will brick up on you.
