I just saying NASCAR is american, it should stay american, and these big wigs are changing that.

Soon enough we'll have almost no american drivers, and some french guy named LeDouche. It wouldn't be our sport anymore. Hell, it isn't now. I hope they continue to hemmorage money.

 

PS: NASCAR is boring anyway. I just live around people who used to enjoy it. Hell, my dad has every dale earnhardt replica model ever made almost. Even some prototypes.

I hate bumper car racing in GT, it's meaningless to play without damage.

What are you talking about.  When did the publisher decide to remove damage from GT5?

Excellent post, rivalry between 2 big IP's in a genre is always good for the true fans as it drives each company to produce even better products.  Without GT5, FM3 would be a worse game and vice versa.

Regarding the OP, assuming it's true come release day then the rally and night racing I have no problems not being included but the lack of weather changes is very disappointing, but it's still not going to stop me buying the game.

meh I wouldn't be too phased about this.
As long as whats in the game is done well (and it will be) what's the problem?
Just because I didn't have snow mobile racing in GT4 didn't make me enjoy it any less

Depending on the gamer.

I own a 360 and PS3 and my cousin LOVES racing games, so i show him F3 and GT5 (he has no bias towards any racing game except maybe burnout games) and he asks all kinds of crazy shyte that i dont know about and i told him to just watch the trailers and look on Wiki.

5 mins later... He calls me back and says GT5. And i ask him why? (without giving a damn just wanted to know) he says, it has an unreal car selection and hes never seen a Sim Racer that looks like you could see yourself seating in the seat. Then i say... F3 looks real nice to! He goes... It doesn't matter, GT5 has my fave cars, Forza does NOT.

So thats that, imo... its the cars that matter, and he thought the cars in F3 were fugly i guess because he barely mentioned them while he was drolling over something called a "Ferrari-512BB" and a "Ferrari-Enzo"... Also he said the Froza Vidoes looked "Toy-ish" and he could'nt really explain it but it seemed odd without certain effects.

Thats fine with me, i wont play the damn thing but if he can get me trophies (Or Acheivments if he choose F3) then thats good enough for me. Even still, No weather effects.... thats my issue with it, if your gonna look good (which it totally does) look good all the way...
