I dont know if I agree that games have poor story. I mean, this is great FPS material.

Sure story isnt MGS level but all sides in Halo have their own motives and their own agenda and no one is portrayed as the evil for the sake of being evil villa (ala resident evil or gears of war)

Its a decent story...sometimes borderline great story that connects amazing shooting setpieces. Thats all you really need...

The story is lame. But its made up for by the fact that the Spartans are some of the coolest superhuman killing machines ever.

The whole reason MC isn't too over the top and doesn't wax lyrical too much is because they're trying to make the player feel like they are him, its almost similar to half-life in a way.

Halo has one of the better scifi action game stories. Much better than Killzone and Gears of War thats for sure.

if you read fall of reach you would now what happened to them, they all died defending reach except like 5 who are now on onyx and mastercheif who left reach on the piller of autumn which is were halo 1 starts. Also mastercheifs name is John.
