There is a big difference from freezing immigration for a few years (UKIP)

UKIP hate immigrants? Really? Where has this being said mentioned or hinted?

I know they mentioned something about asaylum seekers choosing Britain despite there being many other safe countries to take refuge inbetween. But ive never known them to say that they hate immigrants.

And

A complete ban on immigration and full scale deportation based on ethnicity (BNP)

freezing immigration is a pretty extreme measure, tighter controls are fair enough, i can atleast understand why you might do that, but an outright freezing of it, seems to me to be crossing the line between, "we think we need to control what we think is a big problem" to "we dont want them coming here", thats just the way it looks to me.

btw, the number of asylum seekers is fairly low, and even then i believe its shrinking, dont have the figures on me, but i remember reading in the Idependent a while back about them, nowhere near the problem levels that UKIP policy suggests.

I think the freeze was mainly targetted at trying to get the illegal ones out of the country. And further ways they can properly track who is in the country.

They would introduce a points system like Australia.

Is it a form of discrimination to not allow someone access to a country based on their intelligence?

yes, essentially, how do you judge there intelligence and suitability?

getting illegal immigrants out, can be done without stopping people coming here legally surely?

GCSE or whatever levels, and suitibility based on want job they want and if theres a shortage of people in that job field.

Dont no, i do however no that according to border control over 100 illegal immigrants are getting in every day via the channel tunnel. Something needs to be one about that. They jump on the back get under and hide in lorries and things.

on the intelligence level, can you gurantee that an exam grade is a perfect marker of intelligence.

what your talking about really on immigration is border control, i think that perhaps expanding inspection points or something is better than saying "no-one can come in"

And screw off the people that never had a right to education?

How is this going to solve the problem of a aging population? They can't exactly go back and forth freezing and unfreezing the borders.

Maybe these people want a chance of a better live? Have you never thought about that.

Immigration should be primarly for people that can give something to their new home, not the other way around. If people have desirable skills, education or prospects they should be let in without any problems.

It shouldnt lead to the situation in which a State has to take care of people that came here just because they cannot have a good life at home. I know is harsh but in current times immigration is less desirable.

Am half and half with you, I get it isn't the state job to babysit these people. But what happens if they don't have any skill in the first place but they still want to cotribute to society. Saying they need a certain level of skill or educational backing to get in  is wrong.

Or they want to acquire new skills .e.g. Construction worker or plumber, but their previous home didn't have any training for it.

You can still be a productive citizen, even without a certain level of skill.

Depends on where they came from and why they're here. If they came here to mooch off of the government using child support and welfare, bad. If they came to contribute to the work force, good.

Thats why extreamly limited immigration is beneficial, but surley theres other countries in the world where they could get a better life?

Why is it that % wise most people choose an already over populated country over other such as Italy Spain France or USA and Canada?

I know im being steriotypical here but generally people who have a lesser education are less likely to work and boost the economy etc etc.

And the strict immigration laws seem to be working in Australia. I think there should just be a limit on the number of foreign nationals entering the UK each year.

One thing i feel strongly about is asylum seekers. Im not sure why they are allowed to travel around the globe just to find peace. Yes asylum seekers should be allowed to move to a safe country but again why do a majority choose England? Shoudl they have to move to the nearest country which is financially secure and is unlikely to be in a state of war? For example, if i was from a war torn African country then why would they come to Britain? Surley escaping war they would travel across or pass through a dozen safe countries.

I think at this current time Brtiain and England in particular is suffering from overpopulation which obviously causes problems of its on. Jails public services etc etc

Sometimes i think this country is chosen because of all the benefits without working that some people get.
