Yeah, I played that game, original is better. Just saying this game doesn't need fancy HD graphics to be enjoyed as that seems the only reason some people will not play the normal version.

The bolded right there is why A TRUE remake of MGS1 is needed. The cutscenes were an abomination of MGS. And anyone who knows two shits about MGS knows that Cutscenes are a vital part of the game and if their not right then the game fails.

1- A true remake? KOJIMA FRONTED THE PROJECT. He went to Nintendo, they got Silicon Knights, He got the driector to do his cutscenes (which he approved of) and made it for the gamecube (which he wanted.)
Its as true as a remake as you can get. Since you know THE GUY WHO CREATED IT had a say in all of this.

There was nothing wrong with the cutscenes in the original MGS1 unless you're as whiney as that dumb hateful thing you play in MGS2.

God the MGS remake for Gamecube was fucking Epic!
I think personally that Solid Snakes story has ended with a big bang and it is a good time to let it go. If not I'd like to see a remakes in the distant future. As far as the direction the series heads in now I'd like to see Raiden's story followed and something as epic as Snake come out of Raiden over the course of the next 10 years or so. Metal Gear Rising could be a great start to this if it is done right!
