Apparently this is happening a lot. I literally don't know any 360 owner who hasn't gotten the Red Ring if not DVD failure. Even in this thread there are 360 owners who have gotten it multiple times. Yet for some reason among the 360 fanbase if you mention it they scream "trolling". Why do they chastise people for mentioning RROD but for some reason MS gets a free pass? They decided to launch the system with the problems that it has. God forbid we have an actual conversation about how this was one of the biggest mistakes in console history.
Furthermore it is not entirely unreasonable that TXsnakes 360 has gotten RROD after the 3 years were up. He has a PS3 so it's likely that he did not play his 360 as much as someone who only has a 360, hence the delayed fail. |
So you're saying because one 360 RRoD's in 5 days that all will?
Would it be much more reasonable to say all electronics can break?
Nobody is saying that the new 360's can't RRoD, that would be stupid, we are just saying that the new 360's have been greatly improved so that the failure rate has been greatly reduced.
You posting a video only shows what we already know: any piece of electronics can fail.
What do you want to bet that within a week of the PS3 slim releasing that there will be videos of PS3 slims with yellow lights? Does that mean that they all automatically will yellow light within a week or purchasing them? No, it just means it's a piece of electronics and electronics break over time.
