Forums - PC - get my new PC today. Only one problem

so today I got my PC parts and spend the whole day building the damn thing I really thought I will not finish (next time I'm paying extra to have a guy do it for me that Power Supply connects were nightmare !!), anyway it's all working good now, The CPU, GPU, HDD everything but one thing. The Two fans on the case.

You see even if I plug one of them the PC won't start like it doesn't have enough power or something, which is weird because according to the Case Manual the fans take only about 3Wats each on the high (almost half of that on Low which is the default), I thought 700W would be more than enough or am I plugging them wrong ??  so any Ideas ??

these are the PSU and the case if it helps

anyone ?

Hey your case fan might be shorting. Does it happen the same if either fan is plugged in? Also what setting is the fan set to (should be a small toggle box somewhere in the case)

Tease.

What's the specs of ur new rig ThThunder? (not that it has anything to do with ur problem, im just curious)

system fans might be disable in the Mobo bios... check that out!

The fans may be defective, or it could be a BIOS issue.

ok I was able to fix it, don't know really how though but the two fans are working perfectly and they are on Low

Now two new problems (I Know -_-) 1st problem: I instilled Win 7 RC 32bit ver (great OS) and when I see the proprieties of my PC it says that I have 4GB of RAM but (3.25GB are usable) what the hell !! how could I fix it or do I have to download and instill the 64bit ver ??

2nd problem: when I was on the XP just couple of hours ago the sound was working perfectly from the TV speakers and the Headphones I bought. Now only the Headphones work fine but no sound from the TV. I tried plugging in the damn thing in every jack but no luck, any suggestions ??

Thanks for the help with the fans guys BTW but like I said I got lucky and they worked

turn up the volume... W7 has an issue with my desktop where the sound is very low so I keep my monitor speakers set to 20 instead of the usual 10 in XP to hear it.
