Nice list. I'll be getting Yakuza 3, Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls and FFXIII. Two of them aren't coming out this year in the US. I will have to wait again :(

No, but how can those games make 2009 the year of the ps3 if they won't even make it to 2 million sales? No matter what you say, but for something to be console of the year it needs good sales both hardware and software wise. We all know Wii sports resort will outsell all those games times 2 if not more. Perhaps you have another definition of console of the year, I'm cool with that, but I look at it differently.

I hear that if 2010 is also the year of the PS3, Microsoft are just going to pull out of the console market and accept defeat.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Shadow of the colossus sold a bit more than a million, still is better than wiifit, wii sports and wii play.
