Early in the year Capcom expected to ship 1.5 million copies of BC, but with terrible sales they may have only shipped 250-300k on both platforms. And i don't know how they will ship 2.7 million copies LP2 even with PS3 version coming.

i actually think they were aiming for 500k, dont take my word for it though, either way it was definetively a big flop, and it's a shame cause it doesnt look like a bad game at all

They expected to ship 1.5 million. So RE5 better then expected shipment just covered the bomb that was BC.

How much has RE5 sold so far

its one of the biggest flops, but it will not hurt capcom like the biggest flops of the gen hurt their companies.

I think Lair and Haze were much much much more hyped and expected to be system sellers, same as Too Human.

It isn't the biggest, but it is one of them.

Resident Evil 5 has sold 4.45 million so far.
