Forums - Nintendo - A Spectacular Wii Game Released Earlier This Year. Did You Purchase it?

A spectacular Wii game released earlier this year.  And the Wii version even received higher critical accolades than the Xbox 360 version.  Yes, I'm talking about Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers!

Did you purchase it or give it a try and if so what were your impressions of it?

The 360 version is a completely different game

Dave Halverson reviewed them together in play and gave the 360 one a 7.0 and Wii one a 7.5. I don't have a link though because they seem to have removed some things to their site do to their makeover.

There is a Onechanbara movie coming out though.

Actually, I think HKFix already has it for sale:

The game looks like shovel ware are you saying it's not?

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

is this a joke thread?

Bought it around the same time as Dead Rising Wii. It was the better of the 2, but now by much sadly. The animations are terribly broken, and everything looks like a nice DC game.

Surely the sequel will fix all that.

@txrattlesnake. Dave Halverson gives every game he reviews a 7.0 or higher.

Nah, it just did not seem interesting to me.

Not released in Europe.
