The article doesn't say that though.

well, if it means they can make harder games, then i'm all for it. i probably won't use it unless i'm hopelessly stuck and banging my head against a brick wall, but it's nice to put this in so they can have harder games that still sell well.
i think i might have to add this game to my list, depending on how challenging it is.
come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=76669&page=1
you can view a few screenshots from the game in my photo album here; http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/album.php?album=2312
yes, this is vonboy's alt account. i can't log into my original account, and i'm not sure if i will ever be able to.

How are you going to make it to world 8 if you get stuck and have to use demo play on world 2? Seems to me this kind of thing creates a cyclical problem. Players will skip a hard part instead of learning how to get past it and because they didn't learn how to pass it, they will have to skip even more parts later. |
Not necessarily. Some people have harder times with certain things than others. World 8-3 was harder than 8-4 was for me, and 2-2 was harder than pretty much everything before world 5.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

F-Zero was particularly hard. Guess many more people broke gamecube controler.

There are exceptions however it's important to remember that they are indeed exceptions.
Honestly, I'm kind of interested in it. As Miyamoto mentioned, he likes watching games and so, plans on letting it play the whole game through (in addition to playing himself). That sounds kind of neat to me... I wouldn't mind seeing the computer tackle itself.
