I love screamers

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Why should they get off easy? Let's change the crime a bit and say they beat him to death. The situation is still the same. They had the same good intentions. Should they still get off easy? An assault is an assult. If you make the error in judgement about a situation, regardless of your intentions, you should still pay for the crime you commit.

Imagine if they had been correct. They just knocked on the door and said you ok, then got shot?\
This story works more then one way. We are in (no place) to judge them.

If they had been correct and got shot, the law would have taken care of that also. You're talking in hypotheticals though. The reality is, they weren't right and they beat a man with a baseball bat. Strike first and ask questions later is fine and dandy, but it's a gamble, and when you bet wrong you lose. In this case, these kids lost and need to be shown there are consequences for breaking the law, not to be told they had good intentions and be let go.

Take it from the victim. Where's his justice? He's scoring with a hot MILF, giving her a hell of a time in bed, maybe even thinking of putting the moves later on the daughter because he's just that suave, and all of a sudden a bunch of teenagers run in with a bat and beat the shit out of him. It would surely make me weary of going after MILFs again, and I'd probably either start cruising high schools and universities for barely legals or shop at Cougarville for alternatives. Where's his lost salary, his hospital bills, his months of inactivity? He doesn't deserve to see some retribution on his end?

Yes, He deserves to be taken care of. I do feel bad for him, it is a very bad situation for all of them. However, they should go about the right way of doing it. What that is I do not know. The kids should get something done to them, so they learn to respect the laws. I would willing go to jail if I (Knock on wood) had this kind of thing happen to me. I say I would not beat a man to death for any reason. I say I would just hold someone down the best I could before acting. However, really in the heat of the moment, who knows.

I will hope whoever ends up being the judge/jury takes everything into consideration. Their have been other instances that just make me sick along these lines.

This stands as a stark contrast to the romanticized ideal that most people have of vigilante justice.

Of course, police and courts make their fair share of mistakes, too...

I have a question...was the girl oblivious to the fact that her mom had a guy over her house? If she had no idea there was a man with her mom...I can sort of understand where she was coming from...but if she knew that her mom had brought a guy home (for only one reason)....why the hell did she over react?

Bullshit. This girl is 16, not 12, she would know the difference. Obviously she doesn't like the guy her mom is with, or the fact her mom is having a little fuckfest upstairs, so she rounds up some guys to give him a beating. Hopefully the court system won't be as naive as some other people...

Is it just me or does Galaki just find weird news and post it.

I thought this was widely known.
