I hope this game sells well but I have heard piracy is pretty rampant on the PSP, its a shame considering its such a nice piece of hardware but thats what you get for creating a true multimedia device.
If this game does sell well it will be a good sign for developers, if it doesnt, then =

Edit: Naznatips, you ever tried Metroid Prime Hunters on the DS? In my opinion that sets a pretty good precedent for handheld FPS just because the touch screen works so well. Before any PSP owner rips into me, no I havent played any FPS on the PSP.

Ratchet & Clank Size matters works perfect on the PSP, not entirely a real FPS, but still. Its not really my kind of game so my money will be spend on other games instead ;)

I also "hate" people downloading games, because they're not principal enough to pay for a game, but rather "stealing" it. That is the reason why PSP is receiving such a low amount of software as people are downloading games and therefore publishers / developers earn less profit.

I'm afraid this will happen with the PS3 as well...

 I'm afraid this happens rapidly to the most popular system of each generation (PS,PS2), so Wii might go that way too considering it loads custom DVDs which are easier to crack than BDs.

 Actually the Wiis one saving grace as far as piracy goes is its like of a hard drive. Most people just won't be bothered putting the effort in without a harddrive to store all the pirated games on in my opinion.

Ehm PSP doesn't have a harddrive either only internal memory ;) They save up their pirated games on memorysticks, as they download the junk from the Internet.

the wii is far from the saving grace, piracy is rife and very easy. without going into great detail, its far from an issue that nintendo can ignore. I don't believe piracy is harming the PSP though, piracy is far easier, cheaper and more popular on the DS and that isn't struggling in the slightest.
If any machine is strong against piracy this generation, its the PS3, huge games on disks that are very expensive, sadly, a few hacks may be the best thing to give the sales of the machine a kick up the ass.

@nine0nine

To bad its almost IMPOSSIBLE to hack a ps3.

^^ Hackers this is leo-j. Leo-j these are hackers; they can hack ANYTHING
@nine0nine noway DS suffers more from piracy than PSP; that's what's killing the system now (PSP)
