A remake for the HD consoles would make the most sense to me.



AceRock owns one PS3, one PS Vita, and one PS4.

i like where darkside chronicles is going, using the main series as a backdrop was a great idea.

After playing RE5 I`d say that its more likely that the HD consoles would get any such remake. Although with RE:U2 it does give you hope for a Wii remake. Either way I`ll be buying it day one.

To be completely honest, I'd rather a remake of Resident Evil 2 in the way Resident Evil 1 was remade for GCN.

Yaknow, back when Resident Evil was about Zombies and was /actually/ scary!

Did you think that all came for free? That game is reported to be the most expensive in Capcom's history, and they admitted the delayed development cost them loads of profit last year.

That doesn't say "more likely".



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

At this point it seems even the chances of a non-rail shooter Resi on Wii are next to none.

It only seems because you think you know Capcom's intention from this. They never said this is all the Wii is getting. It's just because this game didn't take as long to develop as a full RE game would, regardless of the system, and that any full RE game on the Wii is likely just in the beggining stages at best because RE5 just came out.

I'd say there is a better chance the classic RE2 will hit the DS before it gets a remake on the Wii.

You left out the part where it sold 4 million copies to retail in the first week...
