I never liked the word football and I also hate the dutch word for it and the german one

Voetbal(litterly means football) and Fußball( same thing)

Soccer sounds cooler imho :P

I would have to say the internet or FOOTBALL NOT SOCCER.

I am Canadian and I don't refer to football as soccer. wtf is soccer? Did the Americans just give football that name because they wanted to give the name to a sport where you use your hands 98% of the time?

Anyways, football brings everyone no matter what differences they have together. I see it everyday, its good for bonding. Anyone in the world can play it, all you need is a round ball like object and any two objects as goal posts.
