Dude, you're my hero!

OT: I'll agree with communication. That's a huge part of society nowadays. Dunno if it's top, but it's definitely close.

^ dont get banned dude...language brought communication

You can only speak of a language when it has gramatical rules, etc
Language was disovered a lot later then you think. Because for something to be a language, it also needs to be written. There for the discovery of learning how to write is more important.

This is about greatest achievements, not the most influential ones. Our greatest achievements would be something that incorporates all prior achievements and shows how far we've come as a species.

It's hard to say, though. The moon is up there, but at the same time....

I guess it depends on how the Large Hadron Collider experiments turn out!

U got a point.

Whats the Large Hadron Collider? I bet the atom cannon thingy in Switzerland.

Going to the moon was the most useless and money wasting achievement. It was just done so the Americans could brag against the Russians.

Yeah, you've got it. Who knows what we could learn from that - and from there, what we'll be able to do.

I HATE WHEN THIS HAPPENS, PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT USED TO DISCUSS GET OFFENDED ANY TIME WHEN SOMEONE SAYS THAT DON'T AGREE WITH THE SAME THING.
