*Sigh*

Well, might as well reveal my secret. A while ago, my PS3 broke down. The infamous less than 1 percent to do so. I tried to return it, but complications arose. I'll probably just buy another one, although a price cut would certainly help in that matter.

Making fire and farming would both be very high in a top 10.

I would think electricity would qualify into a top 10. And maybe something with the steam tech or some other kind of stuff related to industrialization and transportation.

But I wonder if stuff like inventing the computer and the internet would qualify.

Paper and book printing. There's lots of important achievements.

You just singlehandedly made me want to play civilization revolution. ugh.

Cool. Now that you mention it pretty much all the biggest achievements of mankind are in that game. Highwaystar obviously hasn't played Civilization in a long while though since his examples in the OP sucked lol.

Sorry for being curious, but what complications?

But have you figured out what I mean already? :P

Fire may have already existed before us, but we learned how to make it and we couldn't do that before we discovered that now did we? :) Wasn't that hard, now was it?

Stop being so pretentious, it's not helping your case. And stop putting smiley faces every where, it just makes you more annoying. That said, fire was necessary for our survival, but farming was necessary for our uplifting. Without fire, we probably would have gone extinct. Without farming, we'd be a bunch of warm and cozy cavemen. Fire allowed us to survive, which millions of other species do on a daily basis. Farming allowed us to thrive and work our way to dominating the earth, something no other species has done. Both sides provide good points, so I'd rather not argue this. Methinks this thread would be better off with people giving dumb answers, like videogames or *insert favorite food/novel/toy here*.

Don't insult the smilies man and I'm being pretentious to not make my posts totally serious. I could not do that, but that would be boring, now wouldn't it? :)

Ok, greatest achievement of humans: enjoying sex, most animals except dolphins don't enjoy sex. Dumb enough?

If I got started, I'd go crazy. I'd rather not.

Samus: Well, I suppose that is an accomplishment. I can't argue with that.

That doesnt count IMO. It's more like an instinct to enjoy sex and not really an achievement (and you can even debate if it's such a great instinct because it also makes a lot of people frustrated, makes them do stupid stuff etc).

Ok, just a short answer then: is the default warrant on PS3s in the US 1 year or 2 years?

It's actually becoming free of your instincs. Sex is an instinct with animals just like eating, etc
It's no instinct with humans. We don't have sex for the sole purpose of survival of our species. And it's great, I don't care for frustrated people. They have something for that as well. Starts with a W
