err, you're on a site called vgchartz with all the data at your hands and yet you forget about history so easily. The PS3 after the price cut OCT 2007 was still more expensive than the 360 and it was outselling it month after month since that month until the 360 got the cut on Sept04 2008. It was MORE expensive, see? It's not the same. The 360 is still cheaper and look at the numbers, nothing major, over 400K this year. And the 360 is not only cheaper than the PS3 this time, it's also cheaper than the Wii. Mark my words, the 360 is living the best of its days.

The economy was booming last generation, this generation we're seeing massive job losses and some places asking employees to work a month for free, does that really mean nothing to you?  Other consoles are down YOY and yet you expect the system to be selling massive amounts despite that.  It seems to me that you're just trying to make a success look bad.  I'm sure if you ask third-parties and retailers they would paint a different picture of the situation than the one you're trying to portray.

I wouldn't expect the 360 to outsell the Wii, that's impossible right now. But doing 40K-50K better than what is doing every week, is that so much to ask for a console in its peak year?

I find it funny how natal and a price cut will help the 360 but when ppl say about a ps3 price cut it wont help.
OT, The 360 is surpassing my expectations tbh.
