Hatchet, I was thinking about editing my quote...but since you don't seem remorseful about using some sort of sexual preference-based insult to express your discontent with Wii owners who are as passionate about their system as you are yours I think I will leave it as you have said it. This is below you and you know it.

Ok then. I never meant to say anything disrespectful, just I love Leo-J too much to see him disrespected :"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""(.

Anyways, my Wii is my favorite system right now, but to say someone is passionate about their systems is a little insulting in my opinion. Because, I don't know what "my system" would be. The only other next gen console I have is the 360 and I'm starting to think it was a waste of money on my part

Then how are you "currently playing" Scarface on the Wii? :/

Ignorance prevails most of the time!

At launch
PS3 $600
GC $200

FF MGS GTA, did GC have those huge 3rd party games Hell no.

The Gamecube (like all systems that survived long enough) had a lot of amazing games which appealed to most gamers and yet people were not willing to spend $100 or $150 to play some of the best games of the generation. How many people who spent $150 on a PS2 are going to pay $400 on a PS3 to play Grand Theft Auto? The truth is that it will be not that many people ...

A general rule with the console industry is "The console that is going to sell well is selling well ... The console that is going to sell poorly is selling poorly." There are many reasons for this but they all tend to revolve around a feed back loop:

  1. Most gamers buy a console they are exposed to through a friend or relative. Most gamers are personally exposed to the console that is selling well so they choose to buy the console that is selling well.
  2. Most gamers choose the console which has the most games, most third party developers choose which systems get the games based on the sales of the system, thus the system that is selling better than the competition will get the most games and thus sell better than the competition.
  3. etc.
